Students must pass five end-of-course (EOC) assessments to meet the testing requirements for graduation. Those assessments cover Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History. A student in 11th or 12th grade who did not perform satisfactorily on the STAAR EOC assessment in no more than two courses may be permitted to graduate if an individual graduation committee determines the student is qualified.
